There’s a range of herbal remedies and supplements recommended for improving memory. You could try:

  • Omega-3 fish oil supplements if you’re struggling to get enough of them in your diet.
  • Ginseng, commonly called Asian ginseng (Panax ginseng), Korean red ginseng, or American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) may be an effective memory booster, protecting brain cells from free radical damage. 
  • Ginkgo biloba may aid memory loss. 
  • B-complex vitamin supplements may help if you are deficient.
